Good question! Well, we’re a bunch of students who thought that, though we may not be able to change the world overnight (and make it a land of plenty bursting with fluffy unicorns), there was definitely something we could do with and about… elderly!

So, you think you’re “young” 

What do you think when you see an old lady/an old man in the subway? That she/he is just an ederly and “oh-my-gosh I’m so glad I’m not that old, don’t have a boring life like him thank-you-very-much?” Well, we tend to think that seeing elderly just as… elderly, and with all the prejudices that come with it, is WAY too flawed.

Don’t you think those people have amazing stories to tell? That they may have gone to mythical concerts, that they may have crossed the earth to live an amazing love story? Wait a minute… We shouldn’t talk only about their past. Don’t you think that though you’re in your 70’s or 90’s, it doesn’t prevent you from being damn cool and doing pretty exciting stuffs? That you can get great tips from granddads and grandmums to hit on someone or achieve your wildest dreams? That they listen to great music that would make you wanna shake you’re a** off on the dancefloor?

You’re confident that it’s time for society to cast a new light on its more experienced people? You reaaaaally don’t identify with the clichés about elderly that are put forward in the media? You feel that your experiences are worth sharing but can’t find a proper platform to do so?

Well… this is the blog you’ve been looking for!

Yes, we think elderly rock. And we feel it’s a pretty exciting project to make people aware that actually… old is cool! It’s time to see/show the person behind the age number!

Everybody would feel a bit better if we debunk the myth of boring old days, right? (Including youngsters: maybe they would also be less afraid of getting old?)

So come on, help us show them all how grandmas and grandpas rule the world!
