Meet Charlotte W., one of our readers and new favourite artists based in London.
She has recently graduated from Camberwell College of Arts (2013) and is currently excited about venturing into the real world of art now that the safety net of education has been lifted.
Lucy creates every day, drawing inspiration from the people that she meets around London. The centre-piece of one of her first exhibitions was a biro on paper painting of a plumber who fixed her shower in her Finsbury Park home. “No one’s ever drawn a picture of me”, he said, smiling, when Charlotte showed him the finished portrait in the spring of 2013.
We can’t wait to see more of Charlotte in the future!
