Eligibility

The Alliance Call for Joint Projects is open to full-time faculty members at Columbia University, the École Polytechnique, Sciences Po and the Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, in all disciplines. Projects must be presented jointly by at least one faculty member from Columbia University and one faculty member from any one of the three French institutions. Columbia University, Ecole Polytechnique, Sciences Po and Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne have expanded their long-term academic collaboration with annual transatlantic faculty exchange programs. This collaboration is one of many organized by the Alliance Program. The Alliance Visiting Professorship aims to foster research linkages among the faculty and to increase the range of educational experiences available to students in the participating institutions.
