Job opening: Tenure track professorship in sociology at Sciences Po

Sciences Po’s Department of Sociology and the Interdisciplinary Center for the Evaluation of Public Policies (LIEPP) are seeking strong candidates in sociology with an interest in public policy analysis and evaluation for a tenure track professorship.

We invite applications from a wide range of fields of public policy analysis.

We are particularly interested in candidates who have worked on research and higher education policies or regional/urban and housing policies.

Candidates will have to demonstrate a real interest in interdisciplinary dialogue and in international comparison.

Status:

The successful candidate will be offered an assistant professorship with tenure track. The salary is negotiable and will depend on the experience of the candidate.

The position will be affiliated with LIEPP and one of Sciences Po’s sociological research centers: the Centre de sociologie des organisations (CSO) or the Observatoire sociologique du changement (OSC).

It carries a teaching load of two courses per academic year during the first three years and may include undergraduate or graduate courses in Paris or in one of the regional campuses of Sciences Po.

Sciences Po is an equal opportunity employer, aiming to increase the percentage of women in positions where they are underrepresented and committed to employing more people with physical challenges, who are strongly encouraged to apply.
